My work lives where the two meet. For more than 25 years, I've offered Reiki, shamanic healing, and traditional Wise Woman ways to people seeking clarity and renewal.

Reiki Sessions
Individual healing sessions channeling Usui/Holy Fire® III and Karuna® Reiki to support emotional and mental clarity, ease stress, and renew your overall wellbeing.
Integrated Sessions
Integrated sessions blend shamanic medicine, Reiki, and ancestral wisdom to support whatever is ready to shift for you: navigating a life transition, seeking clarity, releasing what no longer serves you, or reconnecting with your own innate wisdom and knowing.
How Sessions Work
Sessions are offered in person across the Portland metro and surrounding areas, and virtually. In-person sessions take place in a comfortable treatment room; you remain fully clothed on a massage table, and we begin and end with conversation. Remote sessions include connection by email or phone both before and after your session.
30-minute session: $75
60-minute session: $145
90-minute session: $200
Professional Member of the ICRT Reiki Membership Association
As a member, I follow the RMA Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice, teach with ICRT manuals, and issue student certificates through the International Center for Reiki Training.

Reiki Certification
Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki certification classes, offered live online and in person from Portland, Oregon: Reiki I & II, and Reiki Master Teacher.
Receive your attunements and learn through hands-on experience. Reiki I & II gives you the skills to heal yourself and others; Reiki Master Teacher prepares you to teach. This sacred training deepens your spiritual connection and your capacity to serve, so you leave with both the foundation and the confidence to practice with integrity.
Each class includes a professional manual from the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT), your Certificate of Completion, and your lineage.

Expect a blend of teachings, discussion, hands-on demonstrations, and plenty of practice time. You’ll receive both the Reiki I and II attunements, and leave with the foundation and confidence to care for yourself and the people around you.

Prerequisite: Reiki I & II from any lineage, completed at least six months before the courseFor those called to carry Reiki forward as teachers, this three-day intensive deepens your personal practice while preparing you to attune and guide others with integrity and compassion.
Through deep teachings, discussion, hands-on demonstrations, and many healing experiences, you’ll receive the Master attunement and learn to give attunements yourself. You’ll leave ready to step fully into your role, with your Reiki Master Teacher Certificate and a community to support your growth as you pass this lineage on.

Reiki is a Japanese healing practice rooted in the understanding that a universal life force energy flows through all of us. In Japanese, Rei means 'Higher Power' or 'God's Wisdom,' and Ki means 'life force energy.' When this energy is balanced and flowing freely, we experience health, vitality, and wellbeing. When it's blocked or depleted, we may feel stuck, exhausted, or unwell.
Through the laying on of hands, a Reiki practitioner channels this healing energy to support your body's natural ability to restore balance. The experience often feels like a radiant warmth moving through you, bringing calm to your nervous system and clarity to your mind. Reiki benefits body, mind, emotions, and spirit. Like the universal energy it draws from, it works beyond time and space, making it as effective in person as it is remotely.

GETTING STARTED
Do I need prior experience to take Reiki classes?
No. Our classes welcome students at all levels, from complete beginners to those advancing their practice. No prior experience or spiritual background is required. Just bring an open mind and willingness to learn. Everyone starts somewhere.
What should I expect in a Reiki class?
Expect a blend of deep teachings, discussions, hands-on demonstrations, and plenty of practice time. You'll receive attunements and lineage information that honors these traditions. Classes are held in a safe, compassionate space where you can ask questions, practice with others, and experience the energy directly. I create structure while honoring what emerges naturally in the group.
Do I need to bring anything to the class?
A journal and pen, water, and a snack!

How does Reiki healing work?
Self-Healing:
One of Reiki's greatest gifts is that it awakens your own capacity to heal yourself. As you receive Reiki, you're not passively being healed - you're learning to recognize and activate the innate wisdom your body already possesses. Reiki supports the resilience and balance that lives within you.Holistic Approach:
Reiki honors the whole of who you are. We don't address the aching shoulder separately from the grief you're carrying, or the insomnia apart from the stress in your nervous system. This is whole-person healing, and it works beautifully alongside whatever additional care you may already be receiving.Multiple Sessions:
Some people feel shifts right away; others notice changes unfolding over weeks. What we know is that Reiki deepens with consistency. When you return again and again, you create space for real transformation. Think of it like tending a garden - one session plants the seed, but the whole garden blooms through regular care.What is an attunement?
An attunement is a sacred gift. It's a personalized energetic opening where I attune your channels so you can receive and transmit Reiki energy for the rest of your life. Think of it as an initiation into the practice.
Once attuned, you carry this connection forward, and it deepens with each level of training and practice.Is Reiki a religion?
No. Reiki is a spiritual practice but not tied to any specific religion. People of all faiths and belief systems practice Reiki. It complements rather than conflicts with personal spiritual or religious beliefs. It is commonly used by nurses, massage therapists, parents, and more.
What if I'm skeptical about energy work?
That's okay. Reiki works whether you're a believer or not. Many students come to classes curious but uncertain, and their experience often shifts their perspective. Approach it with openness and let your own direct experience be the teacher.
REIKI TRAINING LEVELS
What are the different levels in Reiki training?
There are three main levels in Reiki training:
Reiki I & II focuses on self-healing and hands-on healing for others. You'll learn foundational principles, receive attunements to channel Reiki energy, practice hand placements, and in Reiki II, learn symbols to enhance and direct energy. This is the foundation of your practice.
Reiki Master (Level III) is for those called to teach and attune others to Reiki. This deepens your personal practice and prepares you to pass the lineage forward with integrity and skill.
Karuna Reiki® builds on Reiki Master training and emphasizes compassion and healing at a deeper emotional and spiritual level. It includes additional symbols and techniques for more advanced energy work.
What topics are covered in the Reiki classes?
Topics include the history of Reiki, the principles and precepts, understanding energy and chakras, hand positions for healing, using Reiki symbols, distant healing, and attunement processes.
What's the difference between Usui/Holy Fire® and Karuna Reiki®?
Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki focuses on self-healing, healing others, and foundational energy work. Holy Fire® is a modern enhancement that brings higher vibrations of healing energy into the practice.
Karuna Reiki® means "compassion" in Sanskrit. It evolved from Usui Reiki and works with deeper emotional and spiritual healing. It uses additional symbols and techniques and emphasizes compassionate service to self and others. Karuna is typically learned after completing Reiki Master training.
How long before I can take the next level?
We recommend at least 6 months of dedicated practice between Reiki I & II and the Master level. This allows time for integration and deepening of your personal practice. The time between levels is sacred - it gives you space to truly embody what you've learned.
YOUR PERSONAL PRACTICE
Can I use Reiki on myself?
Absolutely. Self-healing is one of the primary benefits of Reiki training. Many students begin their practice with self-healing before working with others. This is encouraged and deeply valued. Learning to support your own healing is foundational.
How often should I practice after taking a class?
There's no "must." Some people practice daily, others weekly or monthly. What matters is consistent, dedicated practice. Regular practice deepens your connection to the energy and strengthens your ability to channel it. Even a few minutes a day makes a meaningful difference.
Will I feel something during the attunement?
Experiences vary. Some people feel warmth, tingling, colors, or a sense of peace. Others feel subtle shifts or nothing obvious at first. There's no "right" experience. What matters is the energetic opening that occurs, whether or not you consciously feel it. Trust your own experience.
How long does the attunement last?
Once you're attuned, the connection to Reiki energy is permanent. An attunement opens your channels so you can access and transmit Reiki for the rest of your life. You don't need to be "recharged" or re-attuned, though some students choose to receive tune-ups for deepening.
MATERIALS & SUPPORT
Are there any course materials or books included in the class fee?
You will receive an extensive manual from the International Center for Reiki Training. You will also receive a certificate upon completion.
Can I take Reiki I & II virtually?
Yes. Both in-person and virtual options are available and include live instruction, attunements, and hands-on practice exercises adapted for online learning.
Reiki travels beyond time and space, making online training equally effective and powerful.Do you offer ongoing support after class?
Absolutely. Your learning doesn't end when class does. Both Reiki I & II and Master students receive ongoing access to a heart-centered community committed to supporting your growth.
Through regular online circles, group check-ins, and direct guidance, you'll stay connected with fellow practitioners as you deepen your practice.

Yes! Children and pets are especially receptive to the life force energy of Reiki.
